Neurodiversity
I've worked with many neurodiverse clients who have describe their lived experience of relating to others in powerful ways. These descriptions have shown me that various forms of neurodiversity, such as Autism and ADHD, often include experiences of exquisite sensitivity to others, and a desire for authentic connection. In psychotherapy, I work with neurodiverse clients to honour this, and transform difficult experiences of relating to self and other, into newly enlivened experiences. My approach to working with neurodiverse clients is, therefore, strengths-based.
I see self-managed and plan-managed clients, and I can support parents to collaborate with schools so that positive outcomes for children can occur.
